Once I had to do children's worship and I went outta my mind!!!

Here's what worked for me.

I stood in the back behind the sanctuary with tons of cloths on.  When the children all sat down the pastor looked around in a panic looking for her was going to do worship.  That’s when I ran down the isle with tons of clothes on in a panic saying "Oh no, I just knew I was going to be late today!  I was so worried about today I wanted it to be perfect but I couldn't decide what to wear.  I thought of the men in church when I put this cowboy hat on, but this just doesn’t feel right."  I took of the hat.  "I thought of the pastor when I put on this robe, but this doesn't feel right either” I took off the robe.  After removing several pieces of clothing and finally finding myself underneath "I realized it doesn't matter if I wear all these things or not because God sees what is in my heart and that's all that matters.  Kind of like... a tootsie roll pop, they come in different colors, flavors, some are shaped funny, some are cracked, and some may be broken, but it doesn't matter because the inside is where the good stuff is.  Let's pray   Dear heavenly Father thank you for making us all different, and thank you for loving us all the same...Amen".  Then of course I gave all the kids tootsie roll pops.

Well I hope this helps someone out there searching for the perfect children's worship.

Now I need HELPPPPP!!!   I have to do children's worship on Father's Day

Witness Bracelets
I found a web page, quite by accident* and found just what I was looking for. The Wordless Book provided the information on the colors and meanings of the beads.
For each bracelet:
1 leather strip about 10 inches in length.  You can substitute just about anything that will form a bracelet for the leather.
            1 Yellow (or gold) bead
            1 Black bead
            1 Red bead
            1 Blue bead
            1 White bead
            1 Green bead
At approximately 4 inches from one end of the strip, tie a single not. Now thread each bead in the order shown, that is, gold, black, red, white, and green, onto the strip. Tie a single not in the strip so that the beads will not fall off (at about 4 inches from the opposite end). Tie the bracelet around your wrist and you have finished.
Now for the crux of the bracelet: The gold stands for heaven, the black for sin, the red for the sacrifice of Christ, the white for purity (his and ours when he becomes Lord of our lives), the green to remind us that we need to grow in Christ.

              Gold
God made all things, the trees, the mountains, the sun, the moon, everything. He even made you, He loves you very much. He is preparing a place in heaven for His children. He is Holy, pure, and His home is in heaven. He has a place for all His children to live with Him forever.

              Scripture: John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

              Black
Sin is anything which does not please God. Things like lying, bad attitudes, fighting. We are all born with a "want to" to do wrong things. The Bible says that sin must be punished. That means to be separated from God forever.

              Scripture: Romans 3:23
              For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

              Red
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, never did anything wrong. He willingly took the punishment for our sins when He died on the cross. God put our sin on Him. Christ gave His blood for us. He died but He didn't stay dead. He rose again three days later. Now He is in heaven with God.

              Scripture: Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

              and: 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

              Blue
When we believe in Jesus and ask him to come into our hearts, he will.  We must be baptized in order to fulfill the scriptures.

(I added this color, and haven't found the scriptures for this color yet.)
              White
By believing in Jesus, we can become children of God. Because Jesus died and took the punishment for all of our sins. We can not earn this status, it is a free gift offered by Jesus. All you need to do is to pray to Him and tell Him you believe in Him and that you accept Him as you savior. After this, He will never leave you. He will be inside you forever.

              Scripture: John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

              and: Hebrews 13:5b
for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

              Green
Green reminds us of things that grow. Now that you have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, you should grow in Him.
              1. Pray to Him Often
              2. Read and obey the Bible
              3. Go to church and Sunday School

              Scripture: 1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Adam and Eve

I used the object lesson of making play doe to talk about Adam and Eve and how God formed them from the Earth.  Here is my recipe:

              Play Doe
combine these ingredients in an electric skillet or other means to cook it:
              1 cup of flour
              1/2 cup of salt
2 teaspoons of Cream of Tartar
              1 tablespoon of oil
              1 cup of water

Combine all of the ingredients and stir until mixed well.  You can add food coloring or a package of unsweetened Kool-Aid to give it color and smell.  Turn the electric skillet on low and stir continuously as it begins to thicken.  It will begin to clump together and get more dough-like.  Don't worry, you aren't burning it!  When there is no more liquid left, take the play doe out and let it cool, it will be very HOT!  Knead the dough and store in a clean plastic container.  (Recycled icing containers will hold exactly one batch!)

While it is cooking, I talked about who Adam and Eve were, where they lived, and how the Bible says that God made them.  I also ask them to remember what else God made.  When the play doe is cool enough to play with, we try to make some of the things we named earlier and discuss how hard it is to make them.  We even talked about how great God is to have been able to make all of the things he did.
