Vacuum Salesman

There was a man that got a job selling vacuum cleaners. He had been working at his new job for about a month; he had done very well because he had worked very hard. He knew the bible said we must work as if we are working for Jesus, so he put all of his efforts into his job. One day he called on a house, when an elderly man answered the door he started his sales speech and the elderly man ask the salesman to come in. As soon as the salesman entered the door he thought God wanted him to tell the elderly man about Jesus. The salesman was reluctant; thinking it was just a thought he had instead of God telling him too. As he set up his demonstrations and sales books, again he felt he was supposes to tell the man about Jesus. He shook it off and told himself the man wouldn't want to hear about Jesus and he might lose a sell. He continued to sell the man a vacuum and was delighted as he left the house with a promising commission.

The next mourning the salesman woke up early and as he drank his coffee and read the paper he saw it. The paper had a story of an elderly man that had died while shoveling the snow from his sidewalk, and yes, this man was the one who had received a vacuum instead of Jesus the day before. From that day on the salesman listened to God, knowing it's better working for God in ALL that you do.
